Bill Eagles
Hello, my name is Bill Eagles and as the sole councillor for Ward 3, I bear the responsibility of Championing the diverse needs of our community.
Bill has proudly called the District of Tobique Valley home all of his life. Born and raised here on the Tobique, residing with his wife and family.
Bill loves the vibrancy, diversity and strong community spirit of the Tobique Valley region. After high school he spent time working and owning a small business. Also worked over 40 years in Construction and became a Red Seal Electrician. The last 15 years worked as an Electrical Superintendent on jobs both in Canada and the USA.
Dedicated to public service, Bill brings a strong background in volunteer work to this role. Before being elected, he spent 20 plus years with the local Fire Department obtaining Deputy Chief, 22 years on the volunteer Ambulance Team, many years with the Chamber of Commerce, also served on local and provincial boards.
This experience has equipped him with skills to advocate effectively for local families and insure responsible, transparent governance at council.
Bill is deeply passionate about representing the needs of all the residents in the District of Tobique Valley and Ward 3.
Bill is committed to focusing on small businesses, tourism in the whole area and improving local infrastructure.
Bill looks forward to collaborating with the community and council colleagues to build a better, more connected future for the District of Tobique Valley.
